Premiera najnowszego spektaklu DMN Company z Palermo, którą przygotowuje tancerz i choreograf, Giovanni Zappulla. „LOVE (H)U-MAN’S LOVE” to praca, która skupia się na badaniu duchowego źródła ruchu, analizując szczególnie stany transu obecne w starożytnych kulturach. Metoda "Danza Movimento Naturale" stworzona przez Giovanni’ego Zappullę jest wykorzystywana do prowadzenia tych poszukiwań. Spektakl ten jest swoistym rozważaniem nad duchowymi praktykami, które istniały na przestrzeni historii i były obecne w różnych częściach świata. Poprzez ten rodzaj tańca Giovanni Zappulla ma na celu zwrócenie uwagi na potencjał ludzkości do celebrowania życia poprzez ruch i duchowość. W trakcie tańca ludzie mają możliwość wyrażenia głębokich uczuć i relacji ze światem oraz z innymi ludźmi. Spektakl dąży do zrozumienia, w jaki sposób duchowe i ruchowe praktyki stanowiły integralną część historii i kultury ludzkiej, przyczyniając się do wyrażania miłości i wspólnoty. Giovanni Zappulla - tancerz i choreograf, absolwent CNR w Boulogne Billancourt (Paryż); ukończył R.I.D.C. w Paryżu w zakresie tańca współczesnego. Praktykuje Qigong i jest instruktorem Chen style Taijiquan. Jest twórcą Centrum Choreograficznego L'espace i zespołu Zappulla DMN Company. Jego praca opiera się na innowacyjnej metodzie DMN - Natural Dance Movement, będącej wynikiem holistycznej wizji, która integruje Taijiquan i Qigong, dla silnie ekspresyjnego i performatywnego rezultatu.

The work is an investigation into the spiritual origins of movement.
Through an investigation into trance dating back to ancient peoples, using the Danza Movimento Naturale methodology of choreographer Giovanni Zappulla, the piece aims to highlight what human beings universally share: Love understood as communal tension that becomes a return to inner love. It is a reflection on the practices that have always populated every part of the world and with them the potential of the human race, which celebrates its hymn to Life by dancing. The challenge is to bring on stage dancers capable of consciously accessing altered states of consciousness, making them ultra-sensitive and highly expressive. The research focuses on rites and ceremonies that lead to a state of trance through movement and music.

The cast consists of dancers, musicians and singers and offers the audience an intense, but above all always different experience. The project benefits from the collaboration with composer and sound designer Giuseppe Rizzo, whose experiences range from classical composition to electroacoustic research. This project integrates the collected materials, which are processed through live electronics and real time sound processing, a technology of sound capture and immediate sound transformation that gives life to a living and vibrant musical universe. The artist on stage draws from the stream of consciousness, giving life to sounds, noises, songs, words and phrases that are extremely coherent with the inner landscape he is experiencin.

The company Zappulla DMN was born in 2015 in Palermo from the experience of the previous company L'espace; it deals with promoting and spreading contemporary dance locally, nationally and internationally. The company is based at the Xinergie Center in Palermo, where cultural activities of various kinds take place: contemporary dance, contact improvisation, theater and music, Qigong and Taijiquan Chen style. The founding artists are the choreographer, dancer and teacher Giovanni Zappulla and Annachiara Trigili, dancer and teacher. What moves the company's commitment is the passion for dance, through a choreographic production and a high level educational commitment based on the method of Natural Dance Movement
