Famous Jim Williams Presents: It's Been ONE YEAR

Famous Jim Williams has spent the past year on a quest to bring Polish locals and international expats together through laughter. Since that first show last June, Jim has played to sold-out audiences in several local clubs. He has grown the community of stand-up comedy in English in Wrocław, building an audience of loyal fans and providing a venue for other English speakers to perform. He translated his jokes to Polish and won second prize at PAKA, Poland’s largest comedy festival, and performed in Polish on live national television.

Now, One year and fifteen shows later, Famous Jim Williams Presents: IT’S BEEN ONE YEAR, one final show collecting all of Jim’s best jokes and observations about being an American abroad and about American culture throughout the world. This will be the last chance to see these jokes live in Wrocław. After this, Jim will retire this set and start the next season with fresh, never-before seen material.

The evening will be hosted by the man with the whisky-warm voice and martini-dry wit,  writer and voice actor Derrek Carriveau. It will also feature several birthday surprises, an after-party and, of course, CAKE.
